THE STORY
In the Krayan highlands of Kalimantan, on the Indonesian portion of the Island of Borneo, a short flight with Mission Aviation Fellowship can save hours or days of walking through dense jungle.
We wanted to experience firsthand what it would be like to travel from one village to another on foot. What would have been just a 12-minute flight with MAF took us five days and three modes of transportation.
