Every 10 Minutes
Every 10 minutes an MAF plane takes off or lands somewhere in the world. This film highlights the various ways MAF serves isolated communities.
PROJECT DETAILS
THE STORY
Supporting the work of over 2,000 organizations, MAF flies to more destinations than any other airline in the world. They transport doctors, missionaries and community development organizations into isolated areas where road travel is difficult or impossible.
We’ve traveled far and wide with MAF, flying in tiny planes to some of the most remote places on earth. Working as photojournalists and documentary filmmakers, we’ve had the privilege to capture the stories of hundreds of incredible people and organizations that MAF serves.
Partnering with both the U.S. and International branches of MAF, we’ve created a massive library of story resources for marketing, recruiting and staff fundraising.
STORY FILMS
VANGA HOSPITAL: MASHA'S STORY
After receiving a medical evacuation flight for a severe infection in her leg, it looked like Masha might never be able to walk again. MAF’s IT infrastructure enabled her doctors to email x-rays to specialists and help change the ending of her story.
Fun Flights in Lesotho
Once a year, MAF hosts a big party at the airport in Lesotho to celebrate International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Day. The pilots have a blast and the kids go absolutely nuts. It’s a great way to build relationships with the community and inspire future aviators.
CLEAN WATER IN WAYUSENTZA
In the jungles of Ecuador, the rivers and streams near where people live are often contaminated. Reach Beyond is partnering with MAF to develop clean water projects in jungle communities. In villages like these, access to clean water can improve life expectancy by 20 years or more.
