REBUILDING IN NEPAL
We visited Nepal one year after a devastating earthquake shook the country. We were able to capture stories of hope among the devastation and show how MAF is helping reach some of the hardest hit and hardest to reach communities.
PROJECT DETAILS
THE STORY
On April 25, 2015, a massive earthquake ripped through the mountains of Nepal, killing thousands and leaving many more without access to shelter, food, and clean water. Many lost their lives and many more lost their livelihoods.
MAF was one of the first responders, assisting with logistics for the many organizations trying to bring in aid, and partnering with a local helicopter operator to provide flights.
When we visited Nepal one year after the earthquake, the amount of devastation was staggering. But amidst the rubble, we found stories of hope and a rugged determination to rebuild.
